I liked the format and the characters. The problem I had was with some of the dialog and language. These are adults and some of the language is so juvinile. I know there are people who talk that way, but it bothered me. What I enjoyed was that there were no games just straight talk between Owen and the heroine. I understood her rule about not dating co-workers and appreciate that she took the smart step in keeping track of the harrassment that was going on. The author left it so that you think there will be a sequel coming up. I hope it is soon because I felt that the relationship just got started and want to know more about how this couple would proceed even with the cloud of a spurned former employee targeting her later.
This is a short read and will leave some feeling like there is more to the story and a little disappointed. I was in the mood for this story so I don't mind waiting. I am hoping the dialog gets better in the next one.
